Men's Invitation
On Saturday we had the Men's Invitation competition which was a 4 ball better ball comp. We had some good scores in with our visitors obviously enjoying the course. Iain Burnage and his guest, Jim Denmark from Stockport, scored 41 points to come in 3rd place. Nick Wood and his guest, Dave Bamford from Davenport, scored 42 points for 2nd place. But out in front with a great score of 44 points were David Smyth and his partner from High Legh, Andy Riley.
Ladies Par Competition
On Tuesday the ladies played in a Par Competition split into 2 divisions. In Division 2 Tracy Titchen scored -1 to come in 2nd place. Barbara Newport was 2 shots ahead with a great score of 1 to win division 2. In Division 1 Margaret Simons scored a great score of 3, this was only good enough for 2nd place as Carol Hulme beat her on a card play-off to win the competition overall.
Well done to all our winners in last week's competitions.
