Last Tuesday 30th September the ladies took part in a Stableford competition. There was a great turn out for this competition with 66 ladies competing in the main competition and a further 6 entries for the 9-hole comp. In Division 2 our runner-up was our very own Lady Captain. She was just beaten Margaret Simons who won Division 2 with a score of 38 points.
In Division 1 the runner-up was Alex Forbes who was just beaten by Barbara Boyd who took the prizes for Division 1 that day. Gill Ditchburn won 9-hole comp scoring 15 points. The following Saturday 4th October came the turn of the men and finals weekend.
The Quarter Finals of the Top Dog and the Worthington Memorial were played out in the morning before the rest of the men took part in an AM AM Stableford. In 3rd place, despite only having 2 players on their team, Glen Marshall and Jeremy Hiscott managed an impressive 71 points. In 2nd place, just 1 shot ahead with 72 points, were Russell Gardener, Matthew Gardener and Stephen Ward. But our winners with a fantastic 73 points were Rob Irving, Eugene Smith and Graham Wagster. Well done to all the winners in last week's competitions!
Sunday 5th October was Finals Day.
The semi-finals of the Top Dog and the Worthington Memorial were played out in the morning and the finals along with the rest of the finals were played in the afternoon.

Layering for Women
This week in the shop we are focusing on layering for women. The weather is rapidly cooling and it's time for you to start layering up. It is important to get the correct layering garments as to not impede your swing by wearing restricting clothing. Finally this week we want to update on how the first tee is coming along. They've dug up the white tee now and it's looking a bit of a mess at the moment, it's all for the best though.
The temporary 1st tee is located to the front right of the normal tee which actually make it quite a fun drive, bending it round the corner and down the hill.
