Snow golf for the ladies!

Unfortunately, we had no lady’s competition on Tuesday due to light scattering of snow that shut the course for the entire day.

Hopefully, this is the only snow we get for the remainder of the winter season and we have no more interrupted golfing days.

Short game clinics

Over the course of the spring and summer months, we will be running various styles of short game clinics on Sundays either on the putting green or short game areas on the range. We will go through various shots from around the green and up to the longer pitch shots. These will be free clinics that will allow us to see where you may be going wrong around the greens when it comes to the club and shot selection.

Joe and I will look at various dates and post them into the upcoming newsletters so that you have a chance to get them into your diaries.

We don’t want you to miss out on some great info and guidance!

Mavrik has landed

This week saw the launch of the new Callaway Mavrik range of clubs and I am pleased to say that we have our demo kit up and running!

The new technology in the heads means that more ball speed and forgiveness are possible for all handicaps.

More good news is that I have a Callaway fitting day with technician Tom on Saturday, 1 February from 10am - 2pm.

Tom will have the whole new range plus the MD5 Jaws wedges which were launched late last year.

I will be available to help but I urge anyone who is very interested to book an appointment with Tom who will be happy to discuss the numbers on his Flightscope!

Even if you can't get an appointment, I will be on hand for most of the day to help demo the new equipment. The more the merrier.
