Thank you for your continued support!

Just a reminder that we are still taking your picks for this year's winter draw. We have only 150 squares available and once they're gone they're gone. It will cost £10 per square, and any entries can be sent to pgcgolf@sky.com. 

We will make a note of how you would like to pay for the squares and also give you an update of how many are left after a couple of weeks. 

From all of us at the professional shop, we would just like to say thank you for your continued support over this season, in what has been a very different and unusual season.

We hope everyone stays safe and healthy during the lockdown, and we look forward to seeing you as soon as we can. 

Helpful hints

Through lockdown we will also be posting some tips and hints, that will hopefully help you better your game when we finally get back out onto the golf course.

These will be available to view on Facebook over the next coming weeks. So keep your eyes peeled for some great tips. 

Furthermore, as the course will be closed due to Covid-19, we thought we would let you know about some great at-home alternatives. 

We can order a variety of driving nets and airflow balls if you still like to keep up with your golf through lockdown 2.0!

Augusta looms

Masters week is an exciting time for any avid golfer. It's when we get to watch our favourite golfers battle it out on one of the most iconic courses in the world. Flowers in full bloom, an array of beautiful colours, and a course in pristine condition year-after-year. Augusta National is a special place, so we thought we'd run through some of the standout Masters memories ahead of next week's showdown

Sunday Shifts

In 1996, Greg Norman turned a six-stroke Sunday lead into a five-stroke loss to Nick Faldo. In 1978, Gary Player started the final round eight strokes behind before shooting the lowest-ever final round (64) at Augusta to claim the Green Jacket!

Fighting Spirit

Tiger’s incredible 2019 comeback win springs to mind, but Ben Hogan recovered from a terrible car crash in 1949 to win The Masters by five strokes in 1953. Ben Crenshaw’s 1995 victory came in the same week as the funeral of long-time instructor Harvey Penick. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
