The night has sold out, but if you would like to put yourselves down on the reserve list, then get in contact with the pro-shop to get a reserve spot. It only costs £10 for what we are hoping will be a very fun evening. The price includes a drink and some nibbles and a ticket to the raffle where you will be in with a chance of winning a SkyCaddie touch. We will also be having the professional's prize draw which you have been buying tickets for a while now. You can still buy tickets from the pro-shop for £1 each to be in with chance of winning up £1500 worth of golf equipment.
On the European Tour South African Branden Grace sealed his sixth European Tour title with a one-shot win at the Qatar Masters in Doha. The 26-year-old eagled the 16th and did not drop a shot in his round of 66 to finish on 19-under-par. Scotsman Marc Warren, another of four joint leaders going into the last day, had eight birdies in a 67 but missed a 20-foot putt to force a play-off. World number two Henrik Stenson birdied the final four holes in a 66 and shared 13th along with Justin Rose.
On the PGA Tour Bill Haas landed his sixth PGA Tour title after a tense finish to the Humana Challenge in La Quinta, California. The 32-year-old from Greenville, South Carolina, posted a closing five-under 67 for an aggregate 22-under 266, holding his place at the summit where he began the day in the company of three others. Rivals from further down the leader board scored lower over the final day on the PGA West Palmer course, with Charley Hoffman and Brendan Steele charging to a share of second place with rounds of 64.

The course is now open again after a very quiet few days last week, with the golf course being snowed under. We officially opened again on Saturday though there was no competition. We are expecting snow to come again but hopefully we will be able to keep the course open, if you have any queries ring the office or pro-shop.
Also, we are having a little bit of work done in the hallway outside the pro-shop. It might say use the other entrance but you have access to the pro-shop that way. Just be careful not to knock any of our handy men off their ladders.
We have, new in stock, the new Callaway Big Bertha range. This is includes the driver (alpha 815), hybrids, irons and regular, stiff and x-stiff shafts to go with. If you feel you want to refresh your kit this year then we suggest you have a go with these first. We have demos available so just pop into the pro shop and see if the new technology improves the way you strike the ball.
Driver
