Motocaddy M1 Pro:

In this shop this week we have had the arrival on the new M1 Pro trolley from Motocaddy. The newest member of the Motocaddy family, the compact folding M1 Pro electric trolley has been designed to transform your journey to and from the golf course. The new style frame and three-point folding system have been developed to make the folded M1 PRO trolley over 40% smaller than its S-Series counterparts.

Boasting a sporty look and eye-catching colour, the twin-tube frame not only allows an 18 hole Lead-acid or 18 hole Lithium battery to remain in its tray when folded, but also features an integrated Accessory Station, an easy-to-use handle height adjuster, plus an inbuilt device cradle, accommodating a wide range of GPS devices which can also be powered from the USB charging port. The new M1 PRO is an excellent option if you are thinking of investing in a new electric trolley, it is priced at £399.99 and comes with a two year guarantee covering the trolley and charger and a 1 year guarantee covering the battery.

SkyCaddie GPS:

One thing I would like to highlight this week is the new GPS watch by SkyCaddie. The watch is priced at £180 and is perfect for anyone who is looking for a cheaper alternative to the traditional GPS range finder. The watch provides quick and accurate information about the yardage of the shot either to the front, middle or back of the green. And comes with many additional benefits:

  • All the simple information you need while playing your shots on the golf course are the front, middle and back of the green yardages along with the hole you are on and the par for the hole. The intelligent automation from the GPS sensor automatically recognises your course, hole and distances without your having to program anything.
  • The easy to read screen not only provides the basic distances you need but also can help you measure any shot you hit on the course as well as incorporating a digital scorecard so you can monitor your scores.
  • The Watch comes with up to 30,000 up datable preloaded golf courses ready to play with basic green information.
  • A re-chargeable battery gives you up to 10 hours of use in GPS mode and a year when you're using it as a standard watch.
  • As well as the Golf GPS the SkyCaddie watch also has normal watch functions which include a clock, timer, alarm and water resistance up to 30 metres. This makes the lightweight and compact watch perfect for on and off the golf course.
